Work at Home Leads

Many times, when someone finds out that I work from home, they want to know what I do, how I got started, etc. Working from home has made such a difference in my life that I love to be able to tell people how they can make it work for them as well.

First, you need to determine if you want a work from home job or a work from home business opportunity. A job should not require much of an investment. For some jobs, you will need equipment such a headset or a computer with high-speed Internet access. A business opportunity will almost always require some sort of investment.

Work at home jobs are not as rare as some might think. You can work from home as a customer service agent, a tutor, a transcriptionist, a writer, a virtual assistant, a Web designer and many others.

So many people want data entry. Well, these are a little harder to find. Many scammers have caught onto this pattern as well and will offer data entry jobs to seemingly anyone. That should be your first warning sign of a scam. If a Web site seems to want you too much, they are most likely planning to rip you off. Legitimate data entry jobs usually have lists of people anxious to work for them, or they have not advertised the position at all.

Business opportunities abound. Almost any work at home forum will have links to various business opportunities. You just need to decide whether you want to sell Avon, candles, wellness products, insurance or some other product or service. The best course of action on this is to research as much as possible. Read what other people say in the forums. Try to dig up as much dirt as you can. Some won't be true, but you'll get a feel for what some may perceive as issues.

Also, think about what really makes you happy. If you are passionate about crafting, try selling some of your crafts on www.etsy.com. If you have a talent like twirling or painting, have lessons. Try to turn your hobbies into income. If you enjoy what you do, your customers/clients will feel that and your products will show it.
